Deacon Ed and Rose have been attending, then hosting and now conducting family retreats since 1978.  Deacon Ed has been ordained since 1987 and has worked in parish ministry for 26 years.  He is currently the director of CHOW (Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse) a hunger relief and advocacy program for the Broome County Council of Churches.  He is assigned to the Family Life Office of the Syracuse Diocese working with families, engaged couples and troubled marriages, and does his liturgical ministry at St. James parish in Johnson City, NY.
